⚖️ Rich Filler
Heat-resistant carbohydrate matrix technology — a documented non-meat filler/binder system for yield and texture
Rich Filler is Rockets’ carbohydrate-based structural system — the complement to Phospho-Bind’s protein extraction. Where Phospho-Bind maximizes how much water the meat’s own protein can hold, Rich Filler adds controlled bulk that locks that water in place without producing the spongy, artificial mouthfeel typical of cheap starch fillers.
Beef
ChickenFive Real Problems on the Line
- Insufficient structural bulk to maintain product size after cooking — a common trigger for processors trying to increase meat yield without losing texture.
- Shrinkage and “purge” (moisture loss) during freezing, thawing, and grilling — the exact problem behind wanting to prevent shrinkage in frozen burger production.
- Spongy, artificial mouthfeel from starch-heavy filler systems.
- Water and dehydration pockets forming inside the batch during high-shear processing.
- Inconsistent slice integrity in cold cuts and tear resistance across production runs.
Beef
ChickenHow Rich Filler Works
Rich Filler is a carbohydrate filler for meat processing — a premix combining heat-resistant natural and modified starch, natural fibers, and functional whey proteins and sugars, engineered to remain suspended and workable inside a bowl cutter under high shear rather than clumping or separating into water pockets. It complements the myosin-extraction mechanism described in the Phospho-Bind family1 by locking the extracted water into a stable structural matrix once the protein network is already formed, functioning as a documented non-meat binder system.
Bulk & Structure
Adds controlled bulk without the spongy, artificial mouthfeel typical of cheap starch fillers.
Gel Network Formation
Forms a firm gelatin network during cooking, giving sliced products a clean, tear-resistant bite with excellent slice integrity in cold cuts.
Shrinkage & Purge Control
Prevents shrinkage and moisture loss during freeze-thaw cycles and grilling of frozen ground-meat products.
Color Support
Functional sugars support a natural golden sear/fry color as a secondary benefit.
Cold Cuts vs. Frost — Why They’re Not Interchangeable
Cold Cuts variants use heat-resistant modified starch and a gelatin-stabilizer system built to survive extended, high-temperature oven cycles inside luncheon and frankfurter ovens. Frost variants use multi-source starch and functional viscosity stabilizers calibrated specifically to resist shrinkage and purge through the freeze-thaw cycle and subsequent grilling2 — a two-stage stress the Cold Cuts formulation never experiences.
Built For Your Production Line
Red meat & poultry versions, with the poultry version specifically reformulated to compensate for the inherently weaker myofibrillar protein network in chicken tissue.
- Increase yield without sacrificing texture quality.
- Achieve consistent slice integrity across every batch.
- Reduce shrinkage-related product loss during freezing and grilling.
- Deliver a clean, tear-resistant bite that reads as “meat,” not filler.

A Strategic Ally, Not Just a Supplier
At Rockets, we go beyond the concept of supplying food additives to give your products an absolute competitive edge and market confidence. We fully understand the daily challenges facing production lines — from texture control and emulsion stability, through shelf-life issues and thermal stress, to ensuring food safety — and it is from the heart of these challenges that our vision was born.
Rockets is not a direct manufacturer — we are a Turkish R&D center that designs solution systems, then licenses their manufacturing to certified manufacturers across different markets: the latest technology, unified quality standards, and the flexibility of local, fast supply.
